The Cloning Facility originates from the popular Youtube Shorts by a legendary scientist named Cobe Persin.
He chases people betting he "won't be able to clone" them, utilizes various luxury gadgets such as his 50,000$ microscope or his GS-50 solution, and creates a "clone" of them all while screaming every action he is doing.
Since the end of coby's cloning streak, LCOLONQ takes his mantle as the next cloneer, cloning various chatters and embedding them into his chat. Currently, you can be cloned with 50,000 $COLON points.
Technical Specifics
Clones (also called "fake chatters") are GPT-4 (w/ai) powered chatbots that responds occasionally to clonk's streams.
They are prompted with a system message that are set by the original chatter, and 30~60 example chat examples by them with the preceeding chat message for questions and answer related prompts.
Clones can naturally chat occasionally, with chances of one being picked increasing when their name is mentioned in the recent chat or clonk's speech, where recent chat and clonk's speech is passed to the fake chatter.
Clones can also be triggered by the "talk to clone" redeem, which only passes the prompt given by the redeem.

like this whole pubnix webring site, i have created the logical extreme of cloning that runs on the other gizmo. It is still GPT-4 based, and when fake prod is selected, it sends an http request to the aforementioned api link, and prints a message with the given return value. the endpoint is only active when clonk sesh is online.
Every time the api is called, it picks a random "personality" of prod from a weighted list, which consists of a "default" prod and various "rare" variants with different quirks.
The prompt is dynamically generated based on the prompt, where chunks of them are inserted only when relevant words are detected. The full prompt for the default prod is:
